But you woldn't have heard much, Lorinda had no voice but she worked hard anyway.

BOO-nanza!

Last Saturday we had the opportunity of participating in Clearfields BOO-nanza!

We offered colored extensions, tinsel and glitter spray!We had red and pink.

And the purple was very popular!Now here is Brie going to a concert with her purple tinsel.

The photography was poor but the subtle sparkle is a hit.

We will be able to offer tinsel, glitter and colored extensions for Holiday styles!

Hair Show

Today was the Peerless hairshow in Sandy. There was a Spanish stylist who talked more than he cut. He was a little tough to understand.
We saw this woman get a color makeover based on her face shape and skin tones. It was a good class.

I got new eyelashes and they put them on. That was great since I have the wispiest lashes known to women.

The new haircolor line from Scruples, Illusionist does great color over tint. For anyone not a stylist, that is truly amazing!

The cute British guy named Damen was fun, talented and a good teacher, yeah?

There were a lot of great colors and some very varied cuts, lots of asymmetrical.

I saw women I would never let touch my hair or even my hand. There are always extremes, frumpy, strange, extreme, classy and professional. Lots to see and lots to buy!

Here are two of my favorite long hair color clients!
The first one is Meredeth, She is full time Air Force and just left to report to England. I'll miss her. She is a natural blonde but as happens to us all her hair has become naturally drab so we lighten it. It was a flat bleach blonde until we added a few darker blonde streaks. It's so flattering and the additional color gives it so much depth. I love it.

This is my friend, Jodi, She is a professional woman with possible a little grey. (80-90%) She has colored it a light brown for years but is slowly going lighter, then..... we highlighted it and added a significant amount of blonde while still touching up the grey regrowth. It looks FABULOUS! She's a beautiful Grandma!

Yes, we had Prom here at the salon, well, just the preparation for it. Here are a few snapshots of some of our styles. We were running like crazy to keep up so we just got a few. Most of these were Lexi's:

Here we are all at our Christmas party we had Tuesday night. We had a good time and got to know the guys a little better. We are having a fun December and changing styles for the winter. What a fun time to be a hairstylist!

More Make-Overs

This color and cut was done by Margie.

This client wanted to update her style after years of wearing it long.

Despite not being able to pull her hair up in a fluffy twist anymore. She will love doing her new style. It's an easy time-saver.
With this longer A-line we have texturized and taken some weight out of her thick hair. We added some dimension to her blonde by adding a little darker blonde with it.

Hair by Jaclyn

Jaclyn gave her model a deeper richer color closer to her natural hair color and cut a lot of the dry ends off. She added a lot of texture for a sleek stylish, up-to-date look. This is easy care and classy.

This is our own Kira who wants a little more length to her blonde tresses and has opted to get extensions done while her natural hair grows a little more.
